Worth the Sacrifice

This capital campaign video was produced for Bethany Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas. "Worth the Sacrifice", the seventh campaign in Bethany's history, details the history, mission and ministry of the this congregation. Due to the success of a constantly growing ministry, Bethany finds itself in need of more space once again. The campaign focuses efforts on continuing ministry to children, youth and families by highlighting the need for a Community LIfe Center that will assist in meeting space needs while also offering the opportunity to minister to more people in the south Austin community.

The intro provides teasers of the previous years inductees before launching into a photo montage tour of Concordia athletics over the decades, culminating in teasers for the current years inductees and ending with the Hall of Fame logo and title screen. This proved to be a very popular intro for the Hall of Fame event.

Bryce Bezdek

While a sergeant with the Cincinnati Police Department, Ohio, officers were in vehicle pursuit of a woman who had been shooting up with heroin in a grocery store parking lot. I was in the median of the highway, attempting to throw out Stop Sticks to disable the woman's vehicle and end the pursuit. The driver swerved to exit the highway, striking a pickup that hit me and threw me 40 feet into a highway sign. Doctors only gave me a 20% chance of survival, but thanks to thousands of prayers, I am alive and well today.

Why I Call It Good Friday - IgniterMedia.com

It seems interesting that we refer to the day Christ died as 'Good Friday'. Considering the events of the day, tragic or awful seems more appropriate. However, we ultimately know what God was up to that day. Though the events seemed very 'BAD', God was using everything that happened for 'GOOD'.
