Anita Skorgan, from Norway, has been around since the late 70s. This is a song she released on her "Adventus" album in late 2011. It's a beautiful motherhood song, although supposedly the mother in this song is supposedly Jesus' mother, Mary. I broadened the scope to include all mothers. A YouTube buddy asked me to create a video for the song. It's a lovely song. Sorry, I couldn't find any details about who wrote the song, and I couldn't find the lyrics, so I had to guess at them by ear. Hope I got them right. (Update: I've been told that the song was co-written by Anita and Kari Iveland.)

Thanks be to God for advances in modern medicine. This sweet little girl was given the gift of hearing after receiving a cochlear implant. You will need to have the kleenex handy when you see her reaction to hearing her voice for the first time.
