In July of 2008, Grant Beck of Cedar Rapids, IA, was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, he has received multiple treatments at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. On May 7, 2011, 56 of Grant and Susan Beck's family, friends, and co-workers each played 100 holes of miniature golf to raise money for Grant's medical bills. Through their generosity and support, more than $7600 was raised for the Becks through the Miniature Golf Marathon.
For about 4 weeks my family has been living in Jacksonville, Fl while my daughter (who is singing in this video) is receiving radiation treatments for a brain tumor. This day marks her halfway point and we are heading to treatment. We have discussed that none of us want to be here, but God will and is making us all stronger in this time. He continues to show Himself to us through this storm. We are thankful for His renewed strength in her life (and ours).
