Electronic Recycling Drive

On Saturday, November 2nd, 2019, RenTek and Worthington Libraries are teaming up to offer an electronics recycling drive at Northwest Library, 2280 Hard Rd., Columbus, OH 43235. Anyone wishing to recycle computer equipment and other electronics can drop items off to Northwest Library’s parking lot from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. – just follow the signs marked “Recycling Event.” Volunteers will be on hand to unload the items from your vehicle. All electronic data and personal information is professionally erased using a method that observes R2 compliant standards. Acceptable items for recycling include: - Most all electronic devices - Computers & Servers - Laptops - PDA's - iPads & iPods - Cell phones - Gaming systems - Home stereos - VCRs - DVD players - Wires & cables - LCD and CRT monitors - Keyboards - Computer mice - Printers - Scanners - Copiers - Ink cartridges - Computer parts and accessories **Please note items containing Freon and wood will not be accepted and a small fee will be charged for tube/projection TV's ($2.00 per inch), printers/scanners/copiers ($2.00 ea.), LCD TV's ($10.00 ea.), Mac all-in-one tube PCs ($25.00 ea.) and CRT monitors ($20.00 ea.).
