99.5 KKLA fm hosted its first ever Women's Night Out on April 12, 2013 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Pasadena, CA. About 2000 women of all ages from different cities in Southern California gathered to kick back, relax and enjoy an evening of fun, food, shopping and entertainment. Christian comedian Kerri Pomarolli had the crowd laughing and country singer Coffey Anderson sang some songs. Inspiration came from the main speaker of the evening, Joni Eareckson Tada. Special thanks to the stations' numerous sponsors for making this event possible and the support of loyal women listeners who attended and made the night memorable.
